To expand Heritage Open Days in the future, the Civic Trust is looking for “Premier Sponsors” to support the September weekend. In exchange, Heritage Open Days can offer its partners the following benefits:

In just four days, the equivalent of a long weekend, last year’s Heritage Open Days attracted more or similar number of visitors as some of the top twenty free and paid attractions received in a year. Any supporting sponsor would have the opportunity to reach a huge potential customer base during their leisure time.
We can also support your brand by increasing awareness among our stakeholders (government departments, local authorities, national and local organisations across the cultural sector, museums, libraries and archives and the civic movement).

The free admission policy means the event is socially inclusive and its success is due to the high level of community involvement. In 2007, over 35,000 volunteers were involved in the event.
